What we collect, why we collect it, who else sees it, and how to have it removed.

ASAP Media helps local businesses become easier to find on Google Maps. This page describes what happens to information you give us through asapmedia.io, through our client console at app.asapmedia.io, and when you become a client. It is written to match how the software actually behaves.
The form asks for your business, an email address or phone number, and lets you pick your business from Google's listings. We store the business name and address you selected, its Google place identifier, its coordinates, the industry you chose, and the contact detail you gave us. We do not ask for, and have no use for, payment details or identity documents.
We hold your business details, the search terms your campaign tracks, and the ranking results we measure over time. Console accounts store a name, an email address, a role, and a password that is stored only as a bcrypt hash — we cannot read it, and neither can anyone who obtains a copy of the database.
| Information | Why |
|---|---|
| Business name, address, Google place ID, coordinates | To run searches from points around the business and work out where it appears on the map |
| Your email address or phone number | To send your results and to reply to you. Nothing else. |
| Ranking history | To show whether visibility is improving, which is the service itself |
| Console account details | To let you sign in and to record who took an action |
We use a small number of outside services, and only these:
| Service | What reaches it |
|---|---|
| Google (Places and Maps) | The business name and address, to identify the right listing and to run the searches. Google's own privacy policy applies to what it does with that. |
| Google Workspace (email) | Your email address and the message, when we send you a report or reply |
| Anthropic (Claude) | A business name and address only, to work out which searches a business of that kind should be found for. No contact details are sent, and it is never used to make decisions about a person. |
If you connect your Google Business Profile to ASAP Media, you authorize us through Google to access your Business Profile data: your listing details, posts, reviews and replies, photos, and performance statistics. We use this access only to provide the services you ask us for: updating your listing information, publishing posts, replying to reviews, and reporting on your visibility. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to anyone except as needed to provide those services, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or sale of our business as described below. We do not use it to train AI models.
You can disconnect at any time from your Google Account's "Third-party apps & services" page, or by emailing [email protected]. When you disconnect, we stop accessing your profile and delete the Google data we stored from it within 30 days. Ranking measurements we made from public Google Maps searches are kept unless you ask us to delete them.
ASAP Media's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We will disclose information if the law requires it. If our business is ever sold or merged, information may transfer with it, and we will say so here before that takes effect.
We keep client ranking history for as long as you are a client, because the service is the comparison over time. Free ranking maps and the contact details attached to them are kept so we can find your report again if you ask.
We do not currently delete this automatically. If you would like your information removed, ask us and we will do it — see below.
No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say that plainly than imply otherwise.
Whoever you are and wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Email [email protected]. We aim to answer within a few days and will not charge you for it.
Children. This is a service for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, tell us and we will delete it.
If we change what we collect or who we share it with, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing clients will be sent by email rather than left here to be discovered.
